Hello there, and welcome.

  • Come write with me in France! I'll be teaching a writing workshop in a renovated 17th-century monastery in Southwestern France in July 2017, alongside National Geographic photographer Lynn Johnson's photography workshop. I couldn't be more excited.  See the workshop description on my Teaching page or visit the arts france page on Facebook or the Le Prieure d'Ambialet website
  • Saturday, April 8, I'll be reading at Duquesne University's Cross-Currents, a conference that considers how we can find and blend scholarly inquiry across disciplines and forms of identity. The reading event is at 5:30pm; stay tuned for location.
  • Gallery of available books coming soon. So soon. Just a little longer.
  • Got poetry? I'm the poetry editor over at Lime Hawk, an arts collective and literary press publishing beautiful work on environment, culture, and sustainability. Send me your work!

  • My students in Professional Uses of Social Media at Pitt hosted a Social Media Symposium on Thursday, March 16, and our turnout was great! Thanks to all who came and to the students for their hard work in completing research and building and delivering presentations.
  • I had a great time reading at the Warhol along with my friend Dakota Garilli to celebrate the release of his chapbook, Call it Something Different, from Seven Kitchens Press. You can get your hands on this beautiful book here
  • Honored to have my poem, "Free Bleeding, 19 August 2016," up at LUNCH as part of a political poem cluster.
