Hello there, and welcome.

  • My friend Dakota Garilli is launching his chapbook "Call it Something Different" in a party at the Warhol on Saturday, March 11; I'm honored to read a few poems to open for him.
  • My students in Professional Uses of Social Media at Pitt will be hosting a Social Media Symposium on Thursday, March 16, where they will tell you all about the best professional uses of five major social media platforms, along with lots of other cool stuff. Free and open to the public.
  • I'll be teaching a writing workshop in a renovated 17th-century monastery in Southwestern France in July 2017, alongside National Geographic photographer Lynn Johnson's photography workshop. There may be some bookmaking involved too. There will most definitely be wine, and French cheeses. I couldn't be more excited.  See the workshop description on my Teaching page or visit the arts france page on the Le Prieure d'Ambialet website
  • Gallery of available books coming soon. So soon. Just a little longer.
  • Got poetry? I'm the poetry editor over at Lime Hawk, an arts collective and literary press publishing beautiful work on environment, culture, and sustainability. Send me your work!

  • Honored to have my poem, "Free Bleeding, 19 August 2016," up at LUNCH as part of a political poem cluster.
